Internships
At
the University of Dayton, an internship is a part-time,
paid or non-paid position during the school year (and/or
full-time, paid or non-paid, during the summer months).
An Internship may be part of an educational program
that is carefully monitored and evaluated for credit
by an Academic Unit or part of a learning plan that
the student develops for him/herself. Each Academic
Unit sets their own pre-conditions and requirements
for Internship credit but, generally, students must
have completed 45 semester hours of study to participate.
As an employer, you can post your Internship
positions for students to view online in the Hire a
Flyer Network. Once your account is established, you
will also have the ability to view, online, the resumes
of students whose information matches your job description.
Refer
to the Internship Reference
Guide for requirements and for departmental contact.
