Professional Experience
Mark has served as a career advisor at UD since 2001. He enjoys helping students and alumni, and gives enthusiastic presentations on a wide variety of career-related issues. Mark serves as the liaison to the Arts, Humanities and Social Science majors in the College of Arts & Sciences. He is particularly interested in career development, and enjoys working with first year students and others who are trying to choose a major or career path. His career development experience includes administering career assessments and teaching career development mini-courses. He is very interested in international issues, and works with the Center for International Programs' Study Abroad students.

He spent many years prior to UD as a teacher, primarily in middle and high school social studies. He also taught 4th grade, middle school English and Art, and has given private music lessons. He also has over twenty-five years of performing experience as a bassist and singer, and designs and builds basses and guitars. He lives in Kettering with his wife (a research psychologist at UDRI), and has a daughter in college.
